My favorite seafood dish! A must try.
Baked Shrimp with a Spicy Herb Ghee Sauce

Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 1 lb raw shrimp
- ¼ cup ghee*
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp dried parsley or about 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Perfect Seasoning
- Served over Cauliflower Rice or Parsnip Rice, sautéed peppers and steamed broccoli, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Peel and devein the shrimp. Remove the tails. Rinse and pat dry.
- Place shrimp in a small glass baking dish in a single layer so they fit snuggly.
- Sauté the ghee, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, and spicy seasoning in a small sauce pan over low heat for 2-3 minutes to combine all the flavors and heat through.
- Pour the mixture over the shrimp.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Flip shrimp over halfway through and baste with the sauce.

I also love these shrimp over Pesto Zoodles.
I prefer this sauce with ghee, but if you do not eat ghee feel free to substitute coconut oil.
If i'm in a rush sometimes I just sauté the shrimp in the ghee sauce in a large pan. The flavor tastes better baked, but this method works also.
